What do you get when you mix together Canada’s finest baristas, top tea experts, and a growing community of coffee and tea industry influencers all under one roof? A potent blend of outstanding education, hands-on workshops, business-building opportunities, and a tantalizing trade show floor.
The Canadian Coffee & Tea Show promised this – and more – over the course of the two-day conference and trade show, presented this year in Toronto. It was a big opportunity to learn, experience and enjoy as well as take the time to connect with the most passionate coffee and tea suppliers featuring must-have new products, ideas and services.
The show opened its doors to a growing community thirsty for ideas to help transform the coffee and tea business model and brew up success.
Some of the biggest hits were these new features:
- The Latte Art Challenge
- The Non-Dairy Latte Art Throwdown
- Barista workshops every hour of the show
It wasn’t all about liquid learning at The Coffee and Tea Show. Also featured were a number of foodservice-related workshops and seminars for attendees interested in upping their food game at their tea shop or café.
This year, even more than before, the focus was on helping to enhance and support Canada’s thriving coffee and tea community. One way was with the brand new event app, designed to help attendees connect with each other, have direct access to the list of exhibitors and their profiles, and enjoy creating personal agendas right at the show, in real time. Attendees were also able to receive alerts delivered right to their smartphones on new features happening on the trade show floor.
Stay tuned for next year’s show: September 24 & 25 at The Toronto Congress Centre.
